Timaru Yacht & Powerboat Club offers opportunities to share and improve your boating skills whether your interests are yacht racing, family boating, cruising, slipway access or joining in with our junior sailing program.

Casual slipway (ramp) access can be obtained by buying a Gate Pass ticket from Z Caroline Bay.

2025-2026 Membership Types & Rates, GST Inclusive:
With the exception of “Slipway” users, these full membership rates are reduced by $10 if paid before 30 September 30 September each year.
If you choose not to renew your membership, your existing gate access will expire on 1 October 2024.
The Slipway fee for those who are not club members has increased from $90 to $120 for this season to support increasing costs involved in maintenance.
Note that club members will have their membership status shared with the organising committee for eligibility for any sailing events run by the club and the minimum necessary contact information shared with Yachting New Zealand for affiliation membership. 2025.
If you were a discounted first year member last year you are now required to pay full membership if you wish to renew. Limitations to the times you can access the gate will be removed, in line with your new membership status.
Receipts and any membership materials will be delivered to you once the membership handbook is finalised and printed. Please include a RAPID Number if living at a Rural Delivery address, as these are usually hand delivered in order to reduce costs.
